Kasthall

Kasthall: The Weight of Wool "A Pleasure to Walk On" Ludvig Anderson, founding Kasthall in 1889, stated his ambition plainly: rugs that were "beautiful, durable, and a pleasure to walk on". The phrase sounds like marketing copy now, but it was a manufacturing specification. Beauty could be judged; durability could be tested; pleasure required that the foot find something worth finding. The Kinna factory still operates on that premise. What has changed is the vocabulary for describing why certain materials succeed underfoot and others do not.
